| Terms and Conditions |
| 1. Enquiring about availability: We try to keep the availability chart on the website up-to-date, but please email us to check availability. Please feel free to ask any supplementary questions about a property and let us know if you have any special requirements or concerns (e.g. suitability for the elderly or very young children, allergies, etc.). |
| 2. Confirming availability and price: By email we will confirm whether the dates you want are available, we will then confirm back by email exactly the price you have to pay (all utilities will be included in the price unless otherwise stated, direct line telephone can be added if required where available) |
| 3. To reserve the property: We will then ask for a 30% reservation fee to be paid into either a French or UK bank account, we can also if required accept cheques. (please note all prices on the web site are based in euros) this will then reserve the property on your behalf, we will at this stage then send out a reservation contact confirming all details, and the reservation. |
| 4. When to pay: The remaining 70% payment is due 2 months prior to the renting of the property. For those bookings that are made within 2 months of the arrival date of the holiday, the whole rental amount must be paid at time of booking. |
| 5. Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by you the 30% deposit is not refundable (It is therefore essential that you take out adequate holiday insurance so that should you have to cancel due to ill health or for any other unforeseen reason your deposit can be reimbursed by your insurance company) In the event of a cancellation being made after the full amount has been paid, there is a sliding scale of refunds/forfeit as follows: No. of days before start of holiday that emailed notice of cancellation is received by us. Amount forfeited as % of total rent Before 2 months = the 30% deposit forfeited Before 1 month = 50% forfeited Less than 1 month = 100% forfeited |
| 6. Booking alteration: If after we have issued a Booking Confirmation, you wish to alter your booking, please let us know immediately. We will endeavor to accommodate you, BUT this may not be possible. This service may incur extra charges. |
| 7. Booking out of the property/Cleaning of property: On departure, the property has to be returned in exactly the same condition as when it was initially rented, ie clean and rerentable. If this is not the case a charge will be made for cleaning the property which will be deducted from the security deposit. (this charge will be based on 30 euros per hour for the work to be done) NB. On some properties there will be a conditional cleaning charge that will be included in the rental price (but stated at time of booking) this will be 60 euros unless otherwise stated. |
| 8. Security Deposit: A security deposit of 25% - 50% (dependent on value of property, but agreed prior to booking) of the total cost of the rental is held against utility and service charges, and any damage or breakages which may occur during your stay. We aim to return your deposit or remaining balance at the end of your stay, but where checking of utilities etc may take longer we will refund the balance within one month. |
| 9. Arrival and departure times: We will try to accommodate people as best as possible, so please specify exactly when you are arriving and leaving, however during busy periods of the summer etc, we may have to stipulate arrival and departure times, ie on Saturdays arrival after 4pm and departure before 12 noon. (but please contact us with specific requirements) |
| 10. Linen and Toweling: All properties come with 1 set of linen and toweling (in some cases 2 sets) free of charge. |
| 11. Personal Insurance: People should always travel with personal insurance that will cover them for every eventually. |
| 11. Further information: We can offer airport pickup and return, and clean the property on departure for you, as an added service. So please enquire if this would be of interest. |
